Producers Consumers and Decomposers
Producers Consumers and Decomposers will be explain stepwise in this blog.
Producers:
It include all the green plants. Plants produce their own food
through the process of photosynthesis by using water and
carbon dioxide in the presence of sunlight. During this process
energy and oxygen is released.
Consumers:
Consumers are animals feeding on producers (plants)and other
animals for their food. Consumers include herbivores(primary
consumers), carnivores(Secondary consumers) and
omnivores(Tertiary consumers).
1. Herbivores are depends
directly on plants for their
survival. Goats, sheeps,
cows, Rabbits etc
2. Carnivores (Meat
eater)feeding on primary
consumers. They get food
from other animals. Lion,
cat , dog etc.
3. Omnivores are depend on
both plants and animals for
their food. Human beings
,crows etc.
Decomposers:
It include saprophytes(fungi and bacteria) that converts the
dead animals and plants into fertilizers, nitrogen and carbon
dioxide. They are very essential for recycling of nutrients to be
used again by the producers
